This has been a rough week for Calvin's face! Today he got himself off the porch by himself on purpose for the first time, which you can watch here. Once he was off he did a lap around the yard with Mom, then just a couple minutes later he was standing at the other exit from the porch watching a kitty. Now he normally is fine standing there and if he loses his balance he just lands on his bottom, but he was getting sleepy and somehow managed to dive head first off the porch onto some gravel. Ouch!
Initially he had some big lumps on his forehead but he cheered up within just a minute or two of coming inside. After his subsequent nap his lumps had flattened and got a bit bloody, but nothing a little hydrogen peroxide couldn't fix. This is one tough little dude!
